This is a nice little guitar part. I like the chunky, thick verse in comparison to the lighter, sparser chorus. The chorus would sound nice with a simple string section and all the rock instruments dropping out. Wouldn't it? The words are not finished. I'm not sure if the chorus words work, although I like them in principle, but maybe they belong in a different song. The first and last verse repeats itself which is a bit lazy so I would have to fix that. I like the images in the song though. It's more of an image/picture song that a story/feeling song: the idea of heaven as strange, sprawling dystopia made out of concrete and pearl and guarded by barbed wire.
