about
I had some of the words to this with a similar melody, and then yesterday found a guitar part that sort of fitted, and then made them fit together. It is a nice song, I like it, and especially because it was not actually on my list of songs to finish and record. It was meant to be a little light, short thing that goes towards the end of an album to help break things up a little bit: 2 minutes long , with something new happening every 8 bars of so, no drums, just a but of percussion and slappy rhythmic instrumentation. But listening back to it, it could be another minute long (with singing the whole time) and with some proper drums coming in and some electric riffs. It definitely needs more nice backing vocals anyway, but I ran out of tracks and when I bounce tracks I seem to lose the panning. Anyway to keep the panning when you bounce? This is certainly a Family Matters song, whereas Queen Mab maybe isn't (although it is definitely not Cannibal Anarchy).
