about

Hello there! I really like this song! Here are the reasons why: first reason it has just 2 chords, second reason it is finally a definite Cannibal Anarchy song and third reason I wrote and recorded it in a day and fourth reason because I haven't finished a new song for quite a while, since autumn when i nearly finished 7 songs but then forgot the tuning I wrote them in (which happens quite a lot actually).

This songs is very badly mixed. You can't hear the singing in the chorus (which is a shame because there are some nice lines like "put some shapeless clothes on my shapeless body" and all the percussion stuff is too loud. But it is a percussion heavy song and should in real life be very drum and rhythm driven, which certainly comes across in the demo. I very much like the lyric, "I used to have blood running through my veins, now I've just got Formaldehyde" and Formaldehyde is a great song title. This song would probably come together very quickly in the practice room and if I'd had more tracks then I would have put lots of lovely backing vocals over it. I think my little BOSS 4-track is too small now. I might buy a 24-track recorder sometime soon, because mixing and bouncing is really difficult with such a mini thing.
