I like this song very much in principle but it is one of those ones that is never going to come out properly on a wee four-track, unless you are a proper wizz. It should be very droney and reverby. It should sound like that band, what were they called. Glasvegas? It needs lots of different tracks and over-dubs and definitely drums, and also enough little melodic bits to keep it pretty. It misses bass to point out the chord changes too. I had this one longer actually with an up-tempo more poppy mid before transititioning back to slow outro, which I would maybe try again with a full band, but it did not sound right here. There should be a nice intrumental middle part and the last verse should be quiet but you do not hear any of that here. But I do like the words to this song.
Do not listen to the last 30 seconds, there is nothong there. They only happened because I went to the toilet while the track got mixed down, and it all took me a lot longer than expected.
