This song has a nice chord sequence and some lovely little melodies. WIth a real band it should be very lush and warm with a lot of rich acoustic guitars and pretty chiming guitars. It should almost have a country feel. The mid bit should be more buildy and dramatic with bigger pounding drums and much more instrumentation than there is here. There are some good lyrics on this one, as well as some lazy letsfillspaceuntilIwritebetterlyrics lyrics. I failed to resolve the song on the very last chord which is a bit annoying and I am not sure if I would have the first and/or last verses as full or half verses, but it is pretty much "finished", as far as (my) demos are ever finished. I borrowed a bass off Kieran so put some bass on it. Bass is fun! A nice song! One for Family Matters.
